Las Vegas Permanent Makeup after care instructions for the best permanent makeup results.

Failure to follow instructions WILL result in loss or discoloration of pigment!

1. Chlorine in swimming pools and hot tubs will fade your permanent makeup! Wait until you are totally healed. This includes salt water pools.

2. Tanning in a tanning bed or sun bathing outside is not advised during the healing process of any permanent makeup procedure. So if you do go outside, make sure to wear a hat and sun block but try to wait at least a week .

3. Use only the A and D ointment. No other ointments are recommended. The first few days you need to keep the area moist at all times with the ointment.

4. Do not pick at or scrub or scratch the permanent cosmetic tattoo area.

5. Do not apply Neosporin, alcohol or peroxide to the permanent makeup procedure or surrounding areas.

6. Do not get the permanent makeup procedure area wet for 48 hours because your ointment is all that should come in contact with the area.

7. You may apply ice packs or frozen peas for the first few hours after the permanent cosmetic procedure. It is best that you do this the first day. (20 minutes ice pack on and 20 minutes off the permanent makeup procedure area is advised)

Permanent Makeup Eyebrows

· For 3-4 days use A and D ointment several times a day. Do not let the area dry out. DO NOT LET EYEBROWS DRY OUT AT NIGHT WHEN YOU ARE SLEEPING. If you sleep on your face, use a plastic wrap and first aid tape to protect the eyebrows while sleeping the first few days after cosmetic tattoo. Make sure you promptly take the wrap off in the morning an apply more ointment.

· No tanning for 2 weeks and after 2 weeks use a UVB/UVA sun block on the permanent eyebrows and a hat.

· Avoid facials, chemical peels and AHA products for 28 days after permanent makeup.

· Wait at least 2 weeks before getting eyebrows waxed.

Permanent Eyeliner

· Do not wear eyeliner or mascara for a week after your permanent eyeliner procedure.

· Buy a NEW mascara to use. Using the old mascara may cause an eyeliner area infection and loss of eyeliner pigment.

· Apply A and D ointment to the eye area for 3-4 days. Use a fresh Q-tip for every application and really get inside the lash line.

Permanent Lip Liner and Permanent Lip Color

Keep your lips moist at all times with the ointment for the first week after your lip liner or full lip color application. You can switch to a chapstick with SPF 15 OR HIGHER after that. KEEP LIPS COATED AT ALL TIMES.

LIPS ON SOME CLIENTS WILL GO THROUGH A FOG OVER PHASE AND APPEAR TO HAVE LOST ALL PIGMENT. DON’T PANIC, LIPS WILL HEAL AND SKIN WILL CLEAR. THE PIGMENT WILL BEGIN TO BLOOM FROM WITHIN AT AROUND WEEK 3. RETOUCH IS RECOMMENDED AT WEEK 4.

Drink out of a straw the first 5 days. Do not let any acidic liquids touch your permanent lips.

Apply your lip ointment or chapstick before and after eating.

Do not pick the area.

******Permanent Lips will fade 20-70% the first application. The average is 40-50%. Lips must have 2 applications to get desired results. If a very vivid or bright lip color like bright red is desired a third application may be necessary. Natural permanent lip tints and less bold looking shades usually only require 2 applications.
